รู้ไหมว่าสมองของเราไม่ได้คิดเป็นเส้นตรงนะ แต่คิดเป็นหัวข้อย่อยที่เชื่อมต่อกันเป็นเครือข่ายเหมือนใยแมงมุม!
แล้วทำไมเราต้องฝืนอ่านอะไรยาวๆ ที่เรียงเป็นแถวตรงเป๊ะล่ะ? ในเมื่อเราชอบ “ดูภาพ” มากกว่า “อ่านตัวหนังสือ” อยู่แล้ว จริงไหม? โดยเฉพาะสมัยนี้ที่เป็นยุคของ Big Data ข้อมูลมากมายวิ่งว่อนเต็มไปหมดจนสมองเราคิดตามไม่ทันแล้ว 
เราคงต้องใช้ตัวช่วยแล้วละ!
เพราะแบบนี้ไง สิ่งที่เรียกว่า “Mind Map” จึงเกิดขึ้นมาเพื่อเลียนแบบวิธีการคิดตามธรรมชาติของสมองของเรานั่นเอง โดยใช้ภาพ สี และเส้น แสดงความเชื่อมโยงของข้อมูล

Do you know that our brains don’t think linearly, but its thoughts are in bullet points and titles that are connected into networks, like a complex spider web!
Then, why do we force ourselves to read long texts that are all straight lines, as we like “pictures” better than “reading texts” right? Especially in this age of Bid Data, which information runs around until our brains could not follow anymore. We need a hack!
This is why “Map Map” is created. To imitate the way our brains naturally think by using pictures, colors and lines to show the correlation of data.

In the Design Thinking Toy Project, kids will learn the basis of Mind Mapping and get plenty of hands-on activities to summarize their ideas for creating their own toy, before sketching a design and building the actual toy! If not practiced from a young age, it will be difficult to adapt and get used to it when older. So, let’s get started…
